Dee is our baby, our spoiled little baby.  Dee was the only one in her litter to survive so she never lacked love or attention and being the only one, we knew that letting her go would be very difficult.  We told ourselves that if she wasn’t show quality we would have to harden our hearts and let her go.  Fortunately for us she turned out to be a super little puppy, very compact with terrific movement……how lucky were we?

Dee’s very first show was Manchester Champ show in January 07, there were no tickets on offer for Beagles but the judge Gina Simpson still drew a terrific entry.  Little Dee showed her white socks off and to our amazement won PB and had to go into the challenge the judge then awarded her BPB & BPIB.  The judges’ critique says “Delightful puppy of just six months. Exquisitly feminine head with the most melting soft expression.  Long neck into well laid back shoulders. Good fill to front and correct level topline and high tailset.  Deep brisket. Short coupled, with a nice underline. Strongly made well angulated hindquarters.  Neat strong feet.  In beautiful coat condition.  Moved extremely well, and soundly, presenting an elegant picture on the move.”
What a start to her Show career.

Dee has since followed this on with wins and good placings at Open Shows.

At Consett Canine Society on Eater Sunday Dee won BPIB & PGI (the same day BRU won BIS), the next Day at North & South Shields she won Puppy & PG2 and at Cambuslang Canine Society Dee was on top form, she won Graduate, BOB (against BRU) Gp3, PG1 & RBPIS!!!!

2007 was an unbelievable year for our baby. Dee won 3 x Group 1, 9 BOB’s, various other group placing’s, RBPIS, was consistently placed at Championship shows throughout the year and was always highly placed in the stakes classes, she won the daily heat of the Petplan Junior Stakes at SKC in August she then went on to gain her Show Certificate of Merit at 16 months and finished of a wonderful year for us by gaining her Junior Warrant…..
