Bru was from the mating Macall Highlander at Bruadair x Annavah Ciara at Bruadair. This mating gave us 5 very handsome boys to choose from, we were looking for a girl but we couldn’t bear to let all the puppies go, so after a lot of deliberating we choose Bru. He is a very handsome dog with a beautiful head and the really rich tan colour that we both love!!  He also has the most amazing temperament….

Bru has been very successful in the show ring, qualifying for Crufts at his very 1st show   winning BPIB at SKC in August 05 on his 2nd outing. At Tyne, Wear & Tees Hound in November of the same year he won RBPIS and in the December he won BPIB at Falkirk & Dist under Breed Judge Lynda Havard and PG1 under Nigel Blackstock.
In 2006 he won BIS at  the Whippet Club of Scotland V Scottish Beagle Club Match at just 10 months of age, in the spring/summer of 06 Bru was very well placed at Both Championship & Open shows.

2007 has started well for Bru, he has won numerous BOB’s and Group placings and at Consett Canine Society on Easter Sunday he won BOB, GP1 and BIS….under three different judges.  Bru gained his Show Certificate of Merit the same day…..

Bru has been joined in the ring by his son “Monty” Ardvreck Caerlaverock bred by Mr Nigel Blackstock and owned by Fiona Kelly & Steven Weir, Monty is also doing very well and is a credit to his owners……….

What a wonderful year I had showing my lovely boy BRU in 2007. He won 2 x Best In Show, the 1st at Consett in April and then at Ladies Kennel Association of Scotland in November, he won 11 BOB’s with numerous group placings, a RBOB, he was also consistently highly placed at Champ Shows gaining his stud book number.  He was also awarded his Show Certificate of Merit.   It wasn’t all work for Bru as he managed to sire a couple of litters of beautiful puppies……his daughter Cheri (BRUADAIR EIRIDINN) will is now in the ring.
